- Lead embedded flight software development across the NASA EPSCoR C3M climate-monitoring mission and DoD AFRL Neutron-2 mission.
- Developed embedded C/C++ and Python software integrating an infrared spectrometer and FLIR thermal cameras; achieved wireless thermal imaging at more than 50 feet and 8 FPS live streaming.
- Built Python mission-operator tools for NumPy thermal data and extended the platform to drone-based wildfire hotspot detection.
- Led the refactor from tightly coupled Artemis bare-metal software into a shared NASA F Prime Application-Manager-Driver architecture supporting both C3M and Neutron-2 mission profiles.
- Designed the multiplexed Pi/Teensy/RF transport, payload Data Product and downlink paths, local emulation, ARMv6 deployment workflow, automated validation, and hardware-in-the-loop runbooks.
- Perform JTAG flashing, PDU troubleshooting, FPGA validation, and SatNOGS-COMMS radio bring-up.
- Drive Agile and Git practices, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate across software, electrical, mechanical, and systems teams.
